Too depressing? I’m afraid the vulture makes me laugh.

UH OH, I’m afraid that was me today. I even had a bag of chips sitting there. I think I’m safe though. I didn’t see a vulture sitting on top of my tv.

😀 But you get a lot of exercise on your job, I imagine. You should be plenty safe relaxing in your down time.

  2. Ginny+Hartzler says:

Well, it is true, and a good way to get the point across.

  3. no vulture is visiting with me, although today “no offsite exercise” although a fair amount of up/down the steps here. Washing, garbage by twice, once to the shed with some stuff, washing line a couple of times, letterbox and then surveying the fence now put back in place… all nice to do as no rain! Much sun but not exactly warm, the sun…

Thst would be me…what is funny, the other morn I was sitting out back having breakfast and a vulture landed on the neighbor’s garage. Then maybe Saturday morn, on the way home there were 3 or 4 vultures on a house a few blocks away.

  5. MadSnapper says:

it made me laugh. it is funny and tells the sad truth both at the same time.. bob just said to me, we may have to buy a riding mower, for when I can’t walk anymore, I said the doctor told you last week if you walk you can walk. you have only walked twice since then.

  6. Brutal, but true. The expression on that vulture’s face looks exactly like our girls whenever Tom sits down with a bag of chips.

  7. Cop Car says:

It used to irritate me when men at work wanted to do lifting/carting for me. I kept telling them that, “If I don’t do it, I won’t be able to do it!” Now, 20 years later at age 84 and retired for 18 years, I am almost tempted to accept offers of help. But what I said then is still true, today. I just took 7 each 40# bags of softener salt out of my trunk and am not looking forward to lugging them up the steps into the house and down the stairs into the basement. I’m not at all sure that I can lift a bag high enough to dump into the (too high) salt reservoir. I feel so fortunate to have no major health issues to make physical work impossible for me.

  8. Linda Sand says:

Oh, that is so me! Except it’s more likely to be a book than a TV.
