Thanks Again, Beate, Tim, and Kaitlin

One thing Andy wanted to do was clear the path to the top of our land. Beate, Tim, and Kaitlin were finishing the job by the time Andy and I got up there Sunday.

We all had a Subway picnic lunch on the porch.

Andy had hoped to buy new seeds for the greenhouse, but when he tried Sunday morning they had been put away for the season. So in the afternoon he and Beate and Kaitlin planted the garden with some old ones. If they don’t germinate he will order new ones.

Thanks so much, Beate, Tim, and Kaitlin! Andy says you saved him a couple weeks of work. He really appreciates it.

the magnificent view while eating subs is my way to eat lunch. what a view and so happy the job is brought up to where Andy can handle it. the inside of the green house makes a beauitful photo of shadows, hope the seed germinate. daddy’s green house was 2 french doors, hinged on a box he built, and it worked great. he grew his seeds into seedlings and transplanted in the Georgia soil…. not nearly as pretty as yours.

Up there plants don’t grow well outside of a greenhouse…the animals eat them. Also the growing season isn’t long enough for warm weather plants.

The anticipation of your seed planting attempts. A subway lunch outdoors is such a perfect setting!!!

  5. I can’t think of a more perfect venue to enjoy lunch alfresco!
Sure hoping those seeds will thrive.
