We’ll Have to See What Happens

An adventure is only an inconvenience rightly considered. An inconvenience is only an adventure wrongly considered.
—G.K. Chesterton

Synchronicity — I saw this quote yesterday as I was dealing with the new printer. Well, yeah, I have a sense of humor about it, so I probably agree with G.K. Although my favorite adventure quote is still the gal who said,

My hair isn’t messy, it’s just having an adventure!

We decided to ask for a replacement and hope it works better, that the printer we received was a lemon. I first spent some time looking for other models that were light enough for us to handle, but none of them turned us on. I’ll let you know how it turns out.

I love these quotes! Goodness, we have a Canon printer, and it is the only one out of many that has worked for years. We always check Consumer Reports or Consumer Search for reliability, too.

We’ve had good luck with both Canons and HPs in the past. They were sturdy and lasted for years. Now we need printers that are light enough for us to carry, so we’re not expecting the same longevity. 🙂

I like the quotes but the second one is the best.
Hope you have better luck with the second printer.

hope the replacement works like a charm. I have to say I have had many printers since 1995 and every single one of them, no matter the brand, was an adventure to get it set up properly. it doesn’t help that every time I had to replace mine it had changed on how to set one up. and heaven help us the adventure that appears if something goes wrong with one.

Keeping fingers crossed the first one had some kind of glitch!!

  5. Hope the replacement works better. Canon is a good product and a good company as a general rule.

I still giggle at the second quote. So true, but I could sure do with less adventures

  7. I’ve lot of objects in my life “having an adventure”
