with the weather. Kaitlin had to drive through dense fog to get to the land Monday night, but the next four days were beautiful. Then the weather changed and it’s back to overcast/rain and blustery.
It was breezy enough when they were here to blow the leaves off the trees.
I’m glad they came when they did rather than later!

How beautiful. They look like ginko trees.
I love aspens, especially the way the leaves move in a gentle breeze.
Flickering gold!!
It’s the flickering that makes them so special when the leaves are still green. 🙂
I am so happy they got there to see the falling of the leaves. LOVE the photo of your Three Girls in the golden leaves… agree with Annie, flickering gold
Yes, “the girls.” That’s the term Kaitlin uses for the pups. 🙂
Gotta love it when the weather cooperates like that. The yellow leaves against that blue sky looks so pretty.
We were so lucky. Yes, autumn is pretty here with the yellow and blue.
I’m absolutely mesmerized by #2! How I’d love to reach in my monitor and pick up one or two of those leaves.
I love fallen leaves too. I don’t know why they move me so much, but they do.
How long with they be staying? They picked a good time of the year for a visit.
They left Saturday morning. They stayed four full days plus the night they came.
lovely leave fall and so pleased you had visitors
Thanks. 🙂
Such beautiful pictures! Fall can be many things. Here, in Western Canada, it still seems like summer most days.
We often get Indian summer and may get it later this fall.
Such glorious weather! They did time it just right!
Yes!
That is awesome. So glad that worked out.
Thanks. 🙂
