How cool is that?!   Especially because it didn’t happen when the family was here.

  2. Ginny+Hartzler says:

Wow, and not even November yet!

  3. I’ve noted some other USA blogs writing about snow – it’s not the right season! We are still in Spring and that means Fall for you – not snow time!!!

Ouch! Seems a bit early, doesn’t it? So far, nothing like that here!

  5. Ann Thompson says:

Very cool. I would say cold even….lol I’m glad it’s there and not here. I’m not ready for snow. We were back up to 70 yesterday.

The video is pretty cool! And all that swirling small snow reminds me a very time I look out the window or go in the backyard we have sand Nats that are swarming just like the snow but they bite. It’s really pretty like this and doesn’t cause a problem because it melts as it hits the ground. It’s beautiful

The kids had a dusting of snow last week…I did not see even flurries here but maybe I just missed them.

  8. NO! No, don’t say the S word this early in the season!!!!

  9. Takes me right back …. staring out my 4th grade classroom window instead of paying attention. Always a Big Deal to spy the first flurries. The feeling’s almost magical!

October snow is not on my good things list. I do enjoy watching flurries, though, just not so soon. Winter is long enough in Minnesota without October snow. 🙂

  11. Wow! We are in Montana visiting our daughter and we had snow. Burr!!!!

Andy was raised in Missoula so we know about Montana winters. I remember one picture in a humorous calendar. The people were in their long underwear holding a sign saying, “Montanans for global warming.”
