Andy didn’t take any pictures yesterday because he got the Jeep stuck in another snow drift and had to dig it out. But he got home safely and didn’t hurt the Jeep, so all’s right with the world.

We don’t know if someone cleared the snow off or if the wind did it. Andy said it was very windy up there.
It snowed down here in the morning, enough so the schools and a lot of other things were closed. Then it started clearing up in the afternoon. Here’s a picture from my bedroom window:
I tried looking at the webcam again to see what was happening up there, but it was still sending out the 12:32 picture and wasn’t updating. It still hadn’t changed last night.
I had a fun day down here. I mostly played with the InstaToon app that Sandra has been talking about. Here’s what it did with the webcam picture:

no SNOW here – but an awful lot of HEAT and BLAZING SUN
so after 9am when the day is getting “on2it” – it’s walking very slowly, walking if possible in the shade, making sure the bus has aircon – coming home, zapping on my aircon before I tackle anything else!
Some late afternoons a downpour but not today…

You know I love the app and your instatoon snow pic. that is a lot of ice and snow and so glad Andy did not harm himself or the Jeep…. hope it slacks off soon so he can go to his playtime mountain. I did a few different things with the app this morning.

Wow, that is a lot of snow! Your view is beautiful! Who is the basketball hoop for? So do you have a Mac? I Googled the insta toon, and thought it was only Apple for Macs. So I didn’t get it, since I have Windows. Yours came out really good!
Originally there was a swimming pol, which we enjoyed when Kaitlin was young. But something eventually broke and they couldn’t keep the water clean so it sat there for years. When the management changed a few years ago they dug up the pool and replaced it with the basketball area. It was simple and a lot of kids use it when the weather is nice. They also built a covered barbecue area next to it so people can have cookouts. It was thoughtfully done.
I don’t miss the snow at all – we have had very little so far this winter. But the pups sure would love some. I love seeing the snow on the trees as long as the trees are THERE and not HERE:)
