We’re Going to Bundle Up

We’re planning to go up to the land today to see what the guys have done. It’s going to be cold, a low during the night of 2°F, a daytime high of 34°F. With the wind chill it could feel as low as -7°F during the day.

Here’s a picture from the Valles Caldera webcam yesterday:

It should be warm in the car, house, and greenhouse, so we expect to be fine. I will let you know how it goes.

  1. oh my – that does sound cold

here in Auckland, my region it’s been almost all day storm – probably kicked off around 1pm and here we are nearly 9pm and still raging – extreme rain. I’ m safe but the broken sprouting that somehow the property managers have not fixed it raining even more water out of broken corner – it’s noisy but it’s not coming inside as i’m about 6 steps off the ground.

No intention to go anywhere at this moment… I placed an update on my latest post in case anyone of my blog friends was watching the trivia news of my land 🙂

Pretty from my point of view!!
Have a safe road trip to your land . Enjoy the day.

  5. Oh, I love icicles. Since travelling to see them is highly improbable, I’m grateful for the images you’re sharing. Stay safe!

I often think like you in that it is warm enough in the car and buildings. Hopefully, nothing happens while traveling that means I need to get out of the car because I’m rarely dressed warm enough for winter outside temperatures. I hope your trip is going well and you make it safely back home.

Wow, I would have to gather up quite a bit of nerve and courage to even leave the house!
