I went up to the land with Andy yesterday. A lot of the snow has melted now.
Unfortunately, because of the wind most of the state was under a fire watch.
You can’t win them all.

how sad – from much wetness/snow to such dryness – give them a break “weather maker”
I agree!
The drought here has the whole area under fire bans.
Unfortunately. 🙁
on nooooooo from blizzards and winds to fire and winds. Weather gone wild!
I see Annie is in a drought and we are also, we are getting worried and they are warning of fire here, anythere there are trees. a whole year now, and for our part of the world no rain in almost 8 months. this is our wet season and none and nothing in sight.
It still blows my mind that you would have a drought down in Florida. They are nasty!
Oh no. I’ll be keeping my fingers crossed that there are no fires.
Thanks. 🙂
What a difference! I’m so glad the road looks dry; not so much the state-wide drought conditions.
It’s still fun to watch the difference, especially when there is still a bit of snow.
A very appropriate title, CM! But you and Andy are such troopers—you will get through this!
Thanks!
FINALLY, the snow is melting!! Hopefully the wind will not be too bad.
It is fun to see the snow melting. 🙂
You shouldn’t have much left to burn up on your property though.
Andy will have to work on our defensible space, but you’re right. We’re not worried.
