Nothing Is Impossible?

People say nothing is impossible, but I do nothing every day.
A variation of a very old joke

It may be old, but I read it for the first time yesterday. It was perfect for an exceptionally low-energy day. Andy and I both laughed.

  1. I do a lot of “nothing” at times as well

It’s an VIP skill to learn and many have never even taken the time to do it!

When lockdowns and the pandemic arrived that was when it became evident that many hadn’t ever realised that they would need it.

The amount of people bemoaning all kinds of activities that they “did elsewhere” – one seemed to be the cafe and takeaway culture! None had heard of instant coffee, making burgers on the bbq or even making a pizza…

I’ve some friends who thought they would die if they couldn’t go to the gym or fitness centre. They didn’t of course!

Another lot thought they would die when only one household member could access the supermarket – what say xyz didn’t get the right kind of abc!

It is funny and I laughed out loud when I read it and it’s my first time hearing it and I know that it’s true because I do nothing everyday haha

  3. Love this! It’s shaping up to be a low-energy day here, as well.
