They Arrived…

about 6 PM yesterday.

What were the pups looking at so intently in that last picture? Their dinner, of course. Kaitlin was fixing it for them.

We chatted for a bit, then they drove up to the land so they could get there while it was still light. The humans had their dinner on the east porch, and they sent this picture.

Andy and I will go up tomorrow and the following five days, so we’ll have plenty of chances to visit. More great family memories.

  1. I’ll bet the dogs were excited to see their grand-pawents and their home away from home.

Yes, Torben took a video of them when they realized where they were going. A lot of excitement and happy barking.

  2. so happy they are there and I did not know they are staying that long. YAY for all of you, can’t wait to see and here what all you all do… the dogs look super happy to be there, OR maybe that is the happy dinner look. Ha ha.. fingers crossed the moving truck doesn’t get lost this time. Enjoy! keep us posted
Tempe looks a lot like Beau except no brindle stripes

    What beautiful teeth Tempi has!
I’m sure there are lots of wealthy people who’d envy Kaitlin and Torben’s dinner setting. Have great fun making memories!

Love those mountains. Let the fun begin!

  5. So glad they arrived safely. Love the photos.

I can only imagine the joy those dogs must have felt when they got up to “the land”. Are they allowed to run free up there?

    • Jean says:

They got excited when they realized where they were going. But they haven’t been allowed to run free ever since they ran away a couple of years ago. They ran quite a ways down the road and Kaitlin was able to find them, but it was too scary to risk again.

  7. Ann Thompson says:

Glad to hear they made it there safe and sound. Enjoy your visit with them.

  8. that’s a decent holiday for all, a nice retreat on their journey home to Mass…
