They’re Off!

Kaitlin, Torben, and the pups left around 9 yesterday morning. It was a great visit.

Them taking off:

I was a bit tired so I spent a good part of the day curled up with Duolingo Spanish. They do a great job making it addictive and it seems that some of it is sticking, which is fun.

I took a lot of pictures of our visit, and in the fullness of time I’ll look through them and put some of them on Flickr. Here are three for now:

The weather was crazy, usually sunny in the morning and early evening, but rain and even hail in the middle of the day. We had a good time anyway.

my favorite is the Porch Gathering at the end. Prayers for a safe uneventful trip home to MA… glad the weather let you have fun morn/eve. rain should help with fire danger, hope so.

The rain and the hail was fun too. They’ll spend a couple of weeks with Torben’s mom in Michigan before going back to MA.

Great pics! I especially like the one with the red ball.

Wonderful pictures. Glad you enjoyed your visit. Somehow the weather doesn’t seem to matter if you’re with the right people.

So glad y’all enjoyed a great visit … but don’t you hate ‘good-byes’?!
Hopefully, you’re already looking forward to a next time!

We keep in touch, so it’s not that bad. I keep thinking of the pioneer days, when people not see their loved ones ever again.

  5. a great trip and making more memories
