Too Good Not to Share

In case you didn’t see it, this was Kaitlin’s comment to yesterday’s post:

Oh…. We didn’t tell you our Zoe story! At the dog park in Menlo Park, a chihuahua who – if they stood on their hind legs could not sniff Zoe’s snoot – started to walk towards Zoe. I was concerned, but the chihuahua’s owner just shrugged. Zoe barked at the chihuahua, and the chihuahua barked back. Zoe jumped sideways and ran away. We left the dog park soon after. It was incredible! Those dogs are the boss!

Chihuahuas are so tiny they have to protect themselves somehow. That story is too good not to share.

the smaller the dog the more fierce. this is indeed a funny story. that also pertains to humans, my DIL is 5 feet tall and really fierce if poked and my uncle, was a marine, a tiny fierce marine. all 6 of the brothers almost 6 feet tall except Edwin and he was only 5 feet tall.

    LOL. small but mighty.

  3. I like most breeds of dogs and cats but I would not own a chihuahua. They are bullies and noisy and I’ve never met one that didn’t bite. I had an aunt who bred and raised them. Zoe was right to get out of that chihuahua’s way.

I read that, yes. Too funny!

Those little Chihuahuas are fierce! They act like they are so much bigger than any other critters! I have had several scares from them. One attacked our son when he was about three, just came running up to him and nipped him on the stomach!

  6. next door here, are 2 such tiny critters – and when they start barking, which they do often, sounds like a brawl – is unfolding.

i’ve got a friends is rather slight and she over the years has got things done, that others couldn’t get anyone to do…a powerhouse, but a kind powerhouse

    That is so funny!

Yesterday daughter asked me if I heard Copper howling…no, I did not. What happened I asked.

She was upstairs and heard this pitiful howling…the kind that makes your heart drop, wandering what is wrong. She quickly went in search of him. He was downstairs, about 3 ft from her phone, staring intently at it and howling at it because the alarm was going off and she was not there to turn it off.
