  1. playing with bits of paper – some of it not very big – layering “forest down” and then sweeping it off the substrate because “not sure on layout” – and it’s still WIP!
also it’s been pleasing that the weather forecaster got it wrong today – yes there was a light shower late arvo, but NO hail! And it was quite sunny, not hot/hot but still nice to see it streaming into the living room…

hiding from the heat. I drove to my cousins new house to admire it yesterday and sat and visited with her for a couple of hours. other than that hiding inside. we had to cut the park visit to 15 minutes today, Beau got so hot he walked me to the car and said home please

In spite of the heat we’re lucky to have things we can get involved in. That part is so much better now than when I was a kid.

Yep, hiding from this oppressive humid heat. If I have to be out and about, I try to get everything accomplished before 8 or 9.
    Meanwhile, there’s always afternoon naps.

    • Jean says:

Hurray for naps! There is a reason that some cultures have afternoon siestas. “Only mad dogs and Englishmen go out in the noonday sun.”

In my down time I’ve been binge watching a new series I found on Prime.

  6. Bruce Taylor says:

Cooking ground beef pasta sauce, or as the Italian-Americans call it “Sunday Gravy”! It smells and tastes delish so far.
