In memory of Punch who died June 7, 1885.
          Aged 13 years.

It was placed outside the cemetery.

    I’m guessing this is where Punch was laid to rest — just outside, but near his master’s burial plot. Nice that he was so well thought of.

    yes, so sad, but nice that someone thought enough maybe to bury him/her close to a beloved human. We are guessing it was a dog or cat

  6. I’m not sure if this precious tombstone is a pet or person. But it made me think of this one for a cat named Dewey.
