Distracting a Nervous Pup

These vet techs did a dance to distract the pup when it was getting blood drawn. Click on the picture to see the video on Instagram.

Distraction team ready! Treats, head pats and even dancing can help keep the nervous fur babies from focusing on the treatments being done, we love doing our best to keep things fear free as much as we can.

OK. I went down the rabbit hole and watched several of their videos. Good thing I had already done the important things today. 🙂

that was clever. Our vet uses jerky treats of peanut butter smeared on the table to distract the pups. But my three are pretty good about anything the vet wants to do. He is so good with them and his staff is too.
