My religion is very simple. My religion is kindness.
–Dalai LamaNo act of kindness, however small, is ever wasted.
—AesopThe capacity to care is what gives life its most deepest significance.
—Pablo CasalsThe smallest act of kindness is worth more than the grandest intention.
—Oscar WildeHello babies. Welcome to Earth. It’s hot in the summer and cold in the winter. It’s round and wet and crowded. On the outside, babies, you’ve got a hundred years here. There’s only one rule that I know of, babies—God damn it, you’ve got to be kind.
—Kurt VonnegutThe best portion of a good man’s life: His little, nameless unremembered acts of kindness and love.
—William Wordsworth
That last one especially touches my soul. It’s so quiet and gentle.

Amen to all of these, kindness is the best way to treat others
🙂
I like that last one, too!
Like my momma used to say, “It doesn’t cost a thing to be kind.”
🙂
YES, my very favorite is the last quote, too!!
🙂
All good thoughts to be reminded of from time to time.
🙂
Plus, it feels good to be kind.
🙂
As a longtime Vonnegut fan, I love that quote.
Me too!
Those are all wonderful. We try to be kind always, it’s such a nicer way to spend the days.
It’s so sorely needed in the world these days.
A wonderful collection of kindness quotes. I like them all but that last one is the best. Wouldn’t it be nice if everyone could just turn the kindness up a notch.
Yes, the poor old world needs a lot more of it.
One can never give enough kindness. One of the nicest results of kindness is the warm feeling it gives the giver.
Those are wonderful. Thank you for sharing them.
