So, it’s now 2024, and I’m 84 years old. That’s a new reality. Andy will be 89 in a couple of months so our lives could change drastically at any time. Do I have a New Year’s resolution? It’s pretty much the same every year, keep on doing what I’ve been doing (or maybe keep on doing the best I can with what I have left 🙂 ).
I think of my life as a garden so as I’ve said before, I spend my time
Pulling the weeds, nurturing the flowers, delighting in watching things grow.
That’s why I’ve been having fun with Spanish. It’s fun to see my understanding grow.
And if things start falling apart? No sense throwing away today by worrying about an uncertain future. And there’s always my basic motto,
Stay curious and open to life, no matter what happens keep learning and growing. Find what you love and find a way to share it with others.
I’ll try to keep doing that, and one of the things I love, of course, is blogging. And sharing my life and interests with you. Happy New Year, dear friends. I hope 2024 is a great one for you.
