Not all dogs are like Max. A comment to this comic said years ago he had a Samoyed that loved to be outdoors in winter. She would refuse to come in. So the fellow built a big enclosure for her, including an insulated dog house. The dog, of course, slept on top of the doghouse, not inside it.
This reminds me of the pups in the Op Pack, hoping for some snow even though the humans aren’t.

i am blessed to be owned by a dog that has the same thermostat as I do. we both don’t do well in extreme heat or extreme cold.. we like the middle.. he does better in wind that I do.. maybe if i crawled?
That’s good about the temperature, not so good about the wind!
Our girls are such whusses. If they’re not afforded thick throw blankets on/in which to snuggle they seem affronted. Talk about pitiful eyes!
