I’ve been following Angus for many years now. He moved from Scotland to Italy to France and then back to Scotland. This is what he wrote Sunday:
There comes a point in the year when the switched is turned and Scotland moves from being a place of long nights and chill winds into a place of endless light … and chill winds. We’re there.
Kaitlin spent her Junior year at St. Andrews and I was lucky enough to visit her twice while she was there, once in November and once in the spring. The weather was unusually nice both times, which was an added bonus. Two of the highlights of my life.

chill winds are not for me, but I would love to see Scotland. I have never been outside of the USA, not even to Canada or Mexico.
I always wanted to go there and was lucky about the weather a lot of sunshine.
What gifts, those special red-letter memories!
Yes. 🙂
How I would love to have been on a visit there…sounds like treasured memories for sure.
Yes. 🙂
I would LOVE to visit there. This is a very cool quote!
The quote made me smile.
Hey, do you have photos from those visits?
I’m not sure where they went. It was over 30 years ago.
I’d love to visit there too, even with the chill winds!
In the spring Andy came to and we rented a car and spent several days driving around and seeing the countryside.
I wouldn’t like chill winds.
We were lucky. It wasn’t that cold and only rained once when we were there, which was unusual.
