It was cloudy here so neither Andy nor I was aware of when it happened. I was inside and he was probably outside at the time. But Kaitlin and Torben saw it in their yard and said it was over 90% so it was worth watching. What about you?

It didn’t look like we were going to be able to see it here because it was very cloudy in the morning. It did clear up by afternoon though and I went outside to watch. It was 100% here. It was rather odd when it got dark at 3:17 in the afternoon.

did not pass over us, I saw the black out on TV as I passed through the living room. I just came from viewing photos of it that Ginny took from ABC. looked spectacular in the photos. still laughing at I GOT MOONED.. brahahaha

No we didn’t watch but we did watch the weather channel as it was happening across the united states.
We didn’t try that, but it’s neat that it was available.

I only watched from the living room. While it never grew totally dark, seeing the deepening shadows was pretty neat. Far better coverage on the national news live broadcast from the Indianapolis Speedway … and less expensive!
Yes, I didn’t watch the live broadcast, but it’s neat that they did it. I know people who have traveled to see an eclipse, but that’s not our style.
I went to a viewing paper here on my campus. It was fun and quite amazing. The temperature dropping suddenly is what surprised me the most and the minute it went dark the birds all dove into the trees, like they’d somehow missed their bed time.

Only saw it on T.V. Now I wish I had tried to find the special glasses. But I saw on the news last night that while people were all looking up and wearing the glasses, pickpockets were afoot!
I also heard that some of those glasses were counterfeit and one had to be careful. Sigh about both that and the pickpockets.
Yes, I saw it…I didn’t sit outside and watch the whole process though…just watched off and on through the dining area window. It was strange.
