We had a little rain yesterday:
They’re predicting more today and tomorrow, but who knows? The other day I read that forecasters tend to overestimate the chance of precipitation. They figure more people get upset if they predict clear weather and it rains, than if they predict rain and it turns out to be sunny. I’m just the opposite, when they predict rain I think,
Yeah, sure. Promises, promises. I’ll believe it when I see it.

How I feel depends on two or three things…if it has rained day after day, I am apt to be pessimistic, but try to think it is good for the water table…if it has been hot and no rain, I am a happy girl.
It does depend on how much rain there has been, and it we have to go out in it.
I’ve never been fond of rain …. but having lived 16 years in the Phoenix desert cured me of that. As long as it’s not accompanied by high winds, I’m good.
Wind makes a huge difference.
I don’t mind rain as long as we have nowhere to go!

I don’t mind if it rains all night. I just don’t like it during the day because it makes it hard to get the dogs out and to get my walks in. But we all need a little rain, don’t we?
It makes a big difference if we have to go out in it.
I don’t mind rain that much but I don’t like it when it seems to come all at once!
Yes, we used to have downpours that came down fast and furious. It was best to stay inside until it was over.
It’s good to get some rain. Here in CA we have had two winters with rain which never happens. I don’t like it because it usually rains on a day when I have to be somewhere and my car gets all dirty.
I’m originally from CA and have been watching the weather there. It’s been interesting to say the least. 🙂
I try to not complain about the rain, which we’ve had yet another week of — everything is so green and lush and wet! — But when others are in a drought, I try to be thankful for it, even though my house smells like wet dogs. I’m (mostly) okay with that too, that’s what air fresheners are for. 🙂

I don’t mind rain unless it happens too many days in a row. We have rain in the forecast here for the next 4 days. We shall see.

I tend to stay in if going to rain (forecast); stay in if it is raining
these last few days very cold start – yesterday was “-2” but way before I got up and today it was “0” – but the day turned out brilliant – not hot but definitely sunny.
I took the mobility scooter for a return trip to Pharmacy but went a slightly different way.
I’m glad you are taking that scooter…it’s a nuisance having to carry things. Good for you.
