Andy’s Window Box

Andy and I still remember a program we saw on TV about 50 years ago. It was about a fellow who managed a big farm when he was younger. Then as he got older his growing space was reduced to a garden. By the time of the program he was still growing things, but in a window box. I thought of that Wednesday when Andy brought home this picture of the nasturtiums taking over the corn space in the greenhouse. Andy will plant only a few new tomato plants this year. The greenhouse now makes a fine window box, and we still love it.

I see Andy growing flowers and veggies in his green house like you learning Spanish and me learning how to do things on iPad and other devices. it is is good for the soul. people who have no love or desire to do anything are not very happy.. swiping my paint brush on procreate soothes my soul and I am thinking growing things in his giant window box soothes Andy’s soul
