I just wanted to tell you all that in various parks in Mexico City you can find lines of dogs sitting next to each other with their leashes on the ground next to them. This is a form of doggy daycare/school. The people who train and care for these dogs are as skilled at this as anyone is skilled at anything. What you see in this picture is not a moment. This goes on and on for hours and hours.
….
In Mexico, people have higher expectations of dogs. I think in the US, we set the dog bar too low and they trip over it.

Hmm. That’s impressive, but would it take the fun out of having a dog? See tomorrow’s post for a happy, mischievous pup.

Most impressive!! Wow! 🙂
Yes. 🙂
Realistic statues of dogs.
God bless.
🙂
…better care than some America children receive.
Amen to that!
Very well trained dogs. I guess they are perhaps dog watchers. I watch people when I sit around at a park or mall. very interesting.
It was a big surprise.
I would want to see how they train them first to see if I’m impressed. If shock collars are used or cattle prods, for example, that would effect my view.
The dogs seem relaxed rather than cowed, so I assume the training wasn’t harsh.
I agree, that really is impressive!
🙂
I would never have imagined! And certainly not in Mexico. Somehow I picture Mexico with lots of strays running around. Just because I think more people struggle financially there.
I imagine the owners are well off to afford dog sitters.
I’m sure surprised! Like Ginny, I picture all the hungry strays running loose. These pups appear alert and well cared for; I truly hope that’s the case.
I assume that’s the case if the owners can afford dog sitters.
Very impressive. Dogs can be trained well but the humans need to put in the time.
Yes. 🙂
Interesting
