Inching Along

I’ve been taking a semi-vacation from Spanish. I’ve been streaming videos with English, not Spanish, subtitles, but I still try spend a few minutes each day doing a vocabulary exercise on Duolingo. For instance:

According to Duolingo, by yesterday I had spent 700 days doing something with it since May 6, 2023. I occasionally forget but when I do I try to make it up the next day. It’s only a few minutes a day, but I’m reviewing the words I know and am gradually adding a few more.

I’m not concerned about how little I’m learning — it makes me feel good just to stick with it. Hurray for hobbies!

    Keeping you active

I’ve slacked off a bit with a number of things. So now I’m having a look at mostly “art materials” and deciding if I “gift” things.
Sometimes I don’t too far inti a box pr storage bag..

No rush but does feel goo, even if my poor bed gets covered it so many things…

And because of the returning health issues, I’ve decided after I take my pills before dinner, try to walk around the numerous buildings here. Very short walk, but not every day…

I can’t do after dinner as it’s now quite dark after 6pm. No point tripping and falling after dark.

The new ceramics hasn’t become overly need to store clay etc. I can leave it at the studio with my name on.

    Life has changed for me

You’ve done well at sticking with it. And yes, hobbies are a good thing to have. How else would we fill our days if we didn’t have them.

…my Spanish is poor at best.

  4. I have been distracted and have let Duolingo slip. I’ll get back to it, I do enjoy it. Thank you so much. You are a superstar Duolingo-er!
