The celery plant still isn’t putting out roots, but it is getting taller and bushier.

I can’t tell if it will rot before it puts out roots.

If it does I will try again.

I’ve never grown celery like that but do you think maybe transplanting it into a pot with dirt might help it root? Looks like it is doing well, though. ๐
The video instructions said to wait until a couple of roots appeared.
Thatโs interesting ?. Even without roots yet, itโs encouraging to see the celery growing taller and bushierโthatโs a good sign of healthy growth above the soil. With a bit more time, those roots will likely catch up!
I will let you know!
it really is quite pretty, and I would never have thought of rooting one. I used to keep sweet tater plants in my kitchen and bob has rooted pineapples that grew other pineapples.
I’ve never tried pineapples, but I’ve heard they can be grown.
It’s looking good. Mine seemed to take a long time to get roots. I did finally put it in a pot with dirt the other day. The outer parts of it did rot but I just cleaned those all off before I planted it.
Please let us know how it goes.
…you have a green thumb.
We will have to see. ๐
I’m really surprised at how well this works. Looks healthy and you can always use the green leaves to season foods.
๐
fun trying!
๐
Wow, I missed something. I didn’t know you could grow celery like that.
๐
I have been meaning to try this. Today is the day.
๐
I agree, it does look good though!
๐
How strange. It is looking more and more like a pretty houseplant!
๐
That’s amazing!
๐
It looks beautiful in the middle – I wonder if it will work!
I’m curious too. ๐
It does look lovely and healthy. I wonder where the roots are.
