The balloon continues to lose helium.
And the bean plant looks about the same:
The weather is the thing that is changing. After so much sunshine most of this winter, we’ve been having overcast days with a lot of wind. It actually snowed some yesterday morning, but the sun came out in the afternoon.
Andy stayed down here Tuesday and Thursday, but he went up Wednesday and yesterday — mostly staying inside by the wood stove fire. The roads have been clear, but the wind was almost too much for him outside.
Anyway, it’s now supposed to be sunny and warmer for a while with very little wind, so he shouldn’t have any problems. Next Saturday is the last day of meteorological winter, so spring is on its way!

At least that bean plant is standing up and not laying on the window sill.
It started snowing here last night. No accumulation but we are back to colder temps again.
Here it’s supposed to start warming up again.
I am thinking the bean plant my make it and get those beans again… can’t wait to see if it does.
I have my doubts, but I will let you know. 🙂
They both are holding their own. I hope you will keep posting…I would love to know just how long this balloon will last.
I hope to keep posting about it. 🙂
The bean plant looks to be doing better than the poor balloon.
They have both surprised me. 🙂
Love that it is surviving
🙂
That balloon is so amazing! I hope the sun comes back soon for the beans.
I’m curious about the bean plants, too. 🙂
Spring may be on the way meteorologically but in our reality it’s a couple of months away. That balloon has hung on a long time.
Winters are shorter down here in the Southwest. 🙂
The wind blew me into a pole yesterday! And it ripped the entire roof off of the ice cream place. Stay safe and don’t go outside in it, it can be worse than you think!
Wow! We are careful.
Thank you for the updates. Hope your weekend goes well for you.
I hope you had a good one. 🙂
…and some times I lose steam.
I don’t have nearly as much oomph as i used to!
I think that they are holding their own right now.
We’ll see what happens. 🙂
I love this example of perseverance– both of them, actually. I’m glad Andy’s chosen to exercise caution!
Yes. 🙂
Great you’ve got indoor objects that aren’t static, keeps you on your toes!!!
As you can see I’m working on catching up. I’m behind with a few other blogs!!!
Thank you for coming by! 🙂
