I wish them luck. We spent a lot of time thinking about colors for our house up on the land, and we decided on this color scheme for the outside.
The lighter color was for the walls, the terra cotta for the window frames, and the darker colors for the trim.
It was a bit of shock when we saw what the actual results were:
We have no idea how the walls ended up that color, but we decided to let it be.
Anyway, good luck Betty and Bub!

Yeah, looks like they were a little off on the wall color. The results are very attractive though.
🙂
It’s pretty – just a little different than your plan.
🙂
Yes, the paint has a way of looking different once it’s on the walls!
🙂
Good luck

That’s cute. It is not easy picking out paint colors. I think your place on the land looks great. I like the colors.
Thanks, 🙂
I think it looks great! When Tom’s son and wife were trying to decide on a paint color, they took several small samples and “wrote” on an interior wall. It was interesting to see what looked best, depending on the the sun and time of day.
Yes, lighting is so important. It changes paint colors so much. 🙂
I find it pretty. 🙂

most of the time, I find that the planned colors with looking carefully at those small bits of colored paper, never looks like the paper. I wanted our house aqua but was afraid of what I might end up with so stuck with white
I think you are wise. But in our case we bought samples of the paint itself.
