Update on our landline: The technician did come yesterday, and the phone is working again.
He said he liked our wall phone.
I told him it was almost 50 years old. He was surprised and said,
They don’t make them like that any more.
How true that is.

I miss the days when we had to meet face-to-face to see our family or neighbors. No video calls yet. We had to meet in person to play with friends. It feels more exciting. No online games yet.

We have the same phone in our kitchen!! Ours is kind of a pale beige color. Our teenage granddaughter was here one day, she looked at it and asked what it was!!
