Meteorological summer, of course. When I looked at the forecast yesterday morning, it looked as if things were starting to cool off.
But no, they revised the forecast by the early evening.
I know the weather here isn’t nearly as bad as at other places, but I’m still glad the days are getting shorter and eventually it will cool off faster at night.
Fingers crossed for us all.

I’m probably the exception because I don’t look forward to the shorter days and then of course the arrival of snow. I’ve been worried about lot about how I will manage this year with the snow.
I don’t have to drive in snow and ice, so I don’t mind winter. It makes a big difference.
I agree with Ann about shorter days. And I envy your low temperatures! The days are getting noticeably shorter…. But I love the autumn weather so a lot to look forward to!

we still have 2 months before our nights cool off, it is a tad bit better now, if we had no humidity. Its about normal for this time of year.. School starts tomorrow and our traffic will triple early AM and afternoon. Beau and I will have to be really careful walking. teens don’t look where they drive. we have really enjoyed our rain, but parts of FL are still in drought. FL got more rain in the months of July and broke all records. but still parts have drought.

We finally had rain yesterday and the temps cooled down to 75. This was such a delight for those of us here in Texas who have endured 12 or so days above the 100 degree temps. The humidity is a bummer… I’m ready to see the cooler days..

Here in Montreal I am also looking forward to cooler temperatures. And I really don’t mind the shorter days.
