We were at Cornell University for about 8 1/2 years — over fifty years ago. And I still remember the dogs and the squirrels. The dogs were always hopeful, but the squirrels always won. They would often wait until the last couple of seconds to scamper up the tree.

There is something so lovely about the way a simple comic can bring an entire chapter of your life rushing back. I can almost picture those dogs waiting patiently while the squirrels played their little escape game. Fifty years later and you still remember those small details, which really shows how certain ordinary moments stay with us far longer than we expect. Cornell actually has quite a history of campus dogs, so it seems your memories fit right into a long-standing tradition there.
When I read the self entitlement I thought of several people I know. Dogs and squirrels never entered my mind
this is one I don’t get or relate to. the words self entitlement I get but not for squirrels or dogs. I am thinking my my is way to practical for those one.
Those crazy squirrels sure know how to aggrivate the pups and kitties!
