The story is, little Johnny said to his father,
Let’s play darts. I’ll throw and you’ll clap and say, “Yay, Johnny!”
The great thing about being an adult is we don’t need other people to be our cheering section. I thrive on hearing “Yay, Jean!” So I celebrate all my little successes whether or not anyone else joins me. Yes, it may sound silly, but it works for me. It keeps me focused on what I can do when things don’t go my way. I celebrate any small step I can take instead of complaining about all the problems that keep popping up. Yay, cheering sections!

Yah Jean
I actually misread the first line and then thought why would you do that to a cooking book!
Yay Jean. You entertain us every day with your posts. It’s always a pleasure to visit here and I like your way of thinking. It’s good to focus on the accomplishments rather than the set backs.
Yay Mom!
…I celebrate what I can do these days.
Another Yay Jean!
Yay, Jean! You help keep me going and that’s worth celebrating, too.
I think it is so important to encourage people and acknowledge their efforts and talents. In fact, that is part of my job!
Yeay Jean! Thank you for being an encourager and showing me how to fully enjoy this life I’ve been given.
Yay Jean. I love your posts. Thank you for being here.
