I wanna say that I forgive but I never forget…
But one of my co-workers said the other day that I DON’T forgive.
I replied that I do!
She asked when?…
and while I want to be someone who forgives.
I just can’t remember who or what I forgave.
It has been a long time since I had to forgive someone for some harm done to me and so I wouldn’t know quite how I would react now if something did happen. The chances are slim that it would but, if it did, I doubt that it will affect me in any way so the question of forgiving and forgetting may not arise at all.
Yes, I’ve had a dreadful memory for many years, which does make it easier to forget unpleasant experiences. Fortunately the pleasant experiences tend to remain!
nor do I! LOLOL!
nothing like looking smart AND pious! LOL! or then…
some of us just look old. LOL. I have that part down pat! 😉

I would say having a selective memory. Learn from the unpleasant experiences and move on, but treasure the wonderful ones.

The main thing is not to let the unpleasant experiences poison our lives.
ok, have no comments on this matter…possibly because I’m on the fence
You have plenty of more interesting things to think about!

If something harmful happened, it would be more likely to be to your family rather than you, but even that is unlikely.

Having a selective memory like that is the way to go!
