They Made It!

Kaitlin, Torben and the pups had trouble with a noisy motel room last night, and they hit some bad weather, but they made it home early this morning.

That means Tempi can sleep on the couch again.

How cool is that?

  1. Ah, a dog who knows what throw pillows are for. Very cute.

Aww, Tempi looks so relaxed and happy to be back on her own couch. Glad they made it home safe and sound

I bet everyone is soooo glad to be home and have the trip over with! And I bet you are glad to know they had a safe trip.

Both my daughters’ dogs have a spot on the couch that keeps an old quilt or something on it for them to sleep on. Otti has gotten so old they finally gave in and let him whenever…he wasn’t always allowed. For the longest time, if Sarah got a certain quilt, he knew he was allowed up with her. But no other time.

  4. all is well in the grand-dogs world and I guess in K & T’s world…

a friend of mine in Aussie had to evacuate with 3 dogs a Sakuki and 2 whippets – one of the whippets hates the car and howled all the way – well over an hour to safety, now same dogs can’t understand why their leads are on them, most of the time – but the B & B they are in at present does have a reasonable fence yard, but everything is topsy turvey – the dogs have remain in their room when Russ goes to fetch their food, they apparently whine at the locked door, look back at Lesley as if to say “waaaaaaaaaaaat”

the humans keep hoping that it’s safe to go home, I think the bush fires swang away from their township but who knows…

although there are evac centres set up – you can’t have your pets there…another lady is also at the B & B and she has a cat…

Evacuations are hard. I think here they have centers that allow pets because in the past people wouldn’t evacuate if they had to laave their pets behind.

Fingers crossed for everyone affected by the fires.

what a cozy exhausted little puppy!
and my heart in my throat at the poor Aussie fire escape friend and her dogs.
and the lady with the kitty….
tragedy everywhere. I think of all the wildlife being lost when they show the fire. it’s horrible beyond belief to me!

It’s always good to be finally home.
