Mirrors

When I was chatting with Andy last night the subject of mirrors came up. He said,

I don’t look in mirrors anymore, not since they stopped working. My reflection never looks anything like me now.

He does have a point.

This sounds exactly like something Roger would say.

He used to get up and look in the mirror and say, “I can’t believe it! I did it again!”

Crazy me would say, “What did you do?”

He would say. “I got better looking! Can’t you tell?”

  3. LOL I know how he feels.

  4. I looked in a mirror one day and honestly didn’t recognize myself for a few seconds. Who is that old woman? Made me laugh.

Profound! I feel the sane way! I think, where did that did lady come from?

  6. I always think that the people who keep telling me “you can’t be that old…” can’t see all the lines I see daily in my mirror. I’ve even seen those lines in the public bathroom mirrors so they can’t all be wrong!

  7. Madsnapper says:

I agree with Andy! My reflection doesn’t look like me anymore and I don’t like what I look at that I can’t pass a mirror without looking in it

  8. Andrea says:

What wisdom from Andy! I love it!! I think the Amish are wise too, in having no mirrors at all. Love, Andrea xoxo

  9. Bruce Taylor says:

Someone I know said yesterday, I put on “my face” and it didn’t make a difference.
