I happened to notice last night that yesterday was my 4,000th post. I started blogging in 2007 and posted twice a week until August, 2013. Since then I’ve essentially published every day. I wasn’t keeping track, but the numbers do add up.
Blogging is an important part of my life and I’m grateful for it and for the friends I’ve made. I’m guessing most of you feel the same.
September 1, 2022
I do feel like that about the blogs I read. I used to feel like that about the blog I write. I started in 2008 and wrote every day for several years. Now I try to wrote at least once a month. 🙂
It’s nice to have it there even if you don’t use it every day. 🙂
I am grateful for blogging and have been since I started in 2008, the first 2 years I was sporadic, but after that nearly every day. I am so happy I connected with you and your precious grand dogs. I loved their story today
Here’s a picture of Zoe Kaitlin sent the other day. The subject line was “Guess who feeds me?”
I too feel blessed with the blog friendships!!!
🙂
Congratulations! And yes, I do feel the same. Especially as we get older and don’t socialize as much.
It’s a real blessing, especially in these Covid days.
I’m a little over 2,000 and I started in 2009. It changed my life and came into my life when I needed it the most. I love the friends I have made too.
Congratulations!
Blogging is great for our mental health. Color me grateful. 🙂
Congratulations of 4,000 posts. I checked my Pics and Pieces which I started the last of May I believe in 2007…it has just a bit over 2,000 posts.
I started Time stand Still in August of 2009 and have a bit over 3,000 posts on it.
A lot of water has passed under the bridge since I started either one…some life changing events. And I have had so much support from blog friends.
I wish I could get my act together to blog regularly now….but just cannot seem to do it.
The main thing is it’s there when you want it, and that you still connect with fellow bloggers.
I feel the same way about blogging. I think I started around the same time you did.
It’s been a blessing. 🙂
Congratulations!
I began blogging in 2008, but I’m nowhere near 4k. Nevertheless, I’m happily addicted. I do believe the resulting friendships are one of my biggest blessings.
It’s not about the numbers, it’s just that it’s easier for me if I do it every day.
I’ve blogged all over the place for years – some occasionally send a spam message from them, although I was always pretty sure I’d closed them down. WP and Blogger are the 2 I use most – but I’ve found blogger getting harder to work with – and of course now WP has said my picture storage space is again used up…having already deleted a decade or more I can’t be bothered to do that again… And I don’t know if I can bothered starting again with another blog…
I’ve never met any of my “viewers” even though some are in New Zealand … buts that’s okay because some blog more than once a week…
I hope you do continue!
This made me go back and see my last post on my blog.
That was 5 years ago June 2017
I read my last few posts and just cried.
I don’t think I actually intended to stop posting but…
When Blue died, I just didn’t want to do it anymore.
I started in 2009 and truthfully it opened up a whole new world for me.
I made real priceless friends, like You!
And Tammy.
Sigh.
Maybe I should start a new blog?
But probably not.
Anyway… love you and thankful for your friendship.
xo
Thank you. I love you too!
