    I have since COVID I think? And it was interesting to read about thoughts compared to traveling to other countries.

    Yes. Nowadays, the tip percentage is already written on the receipts!

    I’ve not witnessed any difference lately — but then, we don’t go out so often. My benchmark’s usually 20% unless our server goes over and above expectations. That’s only happened twice in the last year.

    I hate the whole tipping thing these days. It used to be based on the service you got and it was at your discretion. Now it’s expected but they don’t think they have to give you good service. I hate it more when fast food places expect you to tip.

  5. That is sooooooooo funny and it is about the truth.

    I hate these little calculators that the waitresses have now and ask if you want to tip or how much!
