This one takes me back to when my son was playing baseball. He was pitching one game and got hit in the face with the ball.

Me, too! I recall being thrown off the team for throwing the bat when I’d swing. Oops!
That sounds like me. 🙂
The closest I came to playing baseball was “pitching” to kids learning to bat. I was very good at throwing the ball right to the bat.
That takes some skill. 🙂

Our son was in Little League for awhile, and he was afraid of being hit in the face with the ball. The fear is real!

We had a baseball field in the neighborhood where I grew up. I loved playing. I was not afraid of much!
