My daughter forwarded this video to me. In spite of the story line it’s clear the dog isn’t really being cruelly teased. He will get his treat after the camera stops rolling. (Click on image to see video.)
Also, Torben sent me another video that tickled me. In it Sammy is sniffing a box containing two “mammoth” bones, for him and Miss Montana, his new sister. We sent the bones ahead and will open the box when we visit later this month. He could already smell the bones through the several layers of plastic they were wrapped in, so they should be a great success.
I’m sure he’s forgotten about the box by now, but I’m looking forward to opening it when we get there. Doing that is going to be my treat. What about you? Have you had any treats lately? Are you looking forward to any?
Arguably India’s best mango, the Alphonso (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alphonso_%28mango%29) failed as a crop this season and the out put was only 20% of normal. Naturally, the price shot through the roof and I decided that I would wait for the other, less expensive varieties to arrive to indulge. Yesterday, a surrogate son, surprised me with a gift of a dozen Alphonso mangoes. If that is not treat, I don’t know what is.
I’d like to come over there when the box is opened & Sammy & Miss Montana get their bones. In any case, add a video of that.
Rummuser,
That indeed is a treat!
bikehikebabe,
I’ll see what I can do. We’re going by train so I’ll have my camera but not my camcorder. Hopefully Torben will take a video too.
For a moment there I thought BHB is starving.
Funny, Jean. And sweet.
I love it how dogs bury their bones. Such forward thinking. Neither are they interested in “Use-by-date”. What’s a bit of rot?
U
Ursula,
Fortunately Tom keeps BHB well provided. 🙂
And fortunately Andy does the same for me. 🙂
Hmmm. Wondering what sorts of treats my wife has hidden down in the cabinets. Time to go sniff them out …
Looney,
😀
