We had a good time today in spite of the reason for Kaitlin’s coming. We had a good chance to talk about what to do if this happens again, what to do if the neurologist’s idea doesn’t work, etc. So far he’s still having a few attacks a day but they don’t last long and they don’t incapacitate him. He’s taking it easy and not pushing himself at all.
Today we went up, had a picnic lunch, looked at the cherries and apples (driving down to the orchard rather than walking), sat on the porch looking at the view, and drove down to say hi to Beate and Tim just before coming back.
Hopefully in addition to his projects he will make good use of the rocking chair Beate and Tim gave him.
I love that chair!
and I miss Tempi being up on the table. she will have to teach Zoe how to properly view the mountains.
I’m glad you did this post. was needing some ‘latest’ news! xo
We’re looking forward to seeing Tempi and Zoe too!
good to see you are all taking my advice π baby steps…and of course summer is about enjoying the view
He’s a sensible fellow, not pushing it and trying to gather some data about what is going on.
Iβm so glad that youβre all together and that you had a good time!
π
Love the rocking chair!
xoxo
Thank you. Yes, it will be a lasting family memory. π
My earlier comments seem to have disappeared! Great to see Andy relaxing and I send my best wishes to both of you.
I almost bought a chair that looked exactly like that a couple of weeks ago and I still keep getting advertisements for it popping up online. I finally decided to buy a lighter reclining chair rather than a rocking chair as I want to read in the bedroom sitting on it.
How big is the chair you bought? We’re looking for a comfortable one that’s not too big for down here.
