The Old Folks

We had another good day. Andy is still taking it easy, and we drove down when we went to the orchard, but we did do all of the watering. I now understand how the system works, and I even went down into the well house twice in the afternoon — once to start the pumping, the second time to stop it. Andy has it fixed up so it’s simple to understand.

Here are pictures Kaitlin took of the old folks yesterday:

I hope things are going well with all of you.

  1. it looks so summery – something I’m pining for “a little bit” 🙂 but I know that one day soon, I will be moaning about it being far to humid!

things are going alright here, since I made some decisions – mostly to do with my well being and mental thinking (or is that metal thinking)

I’ve been busy with paper, cutters, and glue today – but although there are things to show, not many of them finalised…OH, and I found some of the command wall thingymebobs – just not the ones I want…(shooooooooooooppppppppppppping)

The sun was definitely out. It was a bit warm for me, but not for Andy and Kaitlin.

I’m glad you’re happily immersed in your projects. Good for you!

The solar topi brings back so many memories.

Both of you look fine. My best wishes that you continue to be so.

we had a well at our nursery and home in Broken Arrow. (a suburb of Tulsa then and out in the country) now you probably can’t tell where one ends and the other begins. but it had a well house where the pump was. it seemed to have a sixth sense because it stopped working when he had to leave for a buying trip or to dig trees. and I couldn’t even begin to lift the door to it.
the greening of the mountains is beautiful. Mother Nature reclaiming herself!

I will probably never do it by myself, but when we were going to Albuquerque Beate asked me how the system worked — she wanted to make sure Andy had shut everything down when they left. I didn’t know the answer and yesterday was a good time to learn something.
