Sunny and Cold

It was sunny and cold today.

Fahrenheit:

Celcius:

As you can see from the cars, we had a bit more snow yesterday. The nice thing about the cold is the cars are easy to clean off — it was just light snow, no ice.

What’s it like where you are?

  1. very sunny here, but we don’t seem to have any of those white blankets on cars… in fact most have air-con or windows wound right down. It’s not cold either, I don’t know my temperatures; nor is there any rain…not even a short shower in late arvo which is common on very humid days.
I feel just right…even though mostly indoors today but windows open.

planning I think to go out tomorrow 31st, just to see the world, sort out a problem with my smartphone and maybe eat a good lunch & fetch a few food items….

Yes, your weather is always different from ours! I just checked your temperature on my Dark Sky app. Nice, not too hot. Definitely not winter. 🙂

pleasantly cold. mainly because the wind isn’t blowing like usual.
tonight maybe a little rain. ‘little’ being the key word. I think they said a tenth of an inch! LOL! why measure then?
your snow is beautiful! just beautiful!

    • Jean says:

Hey, a tenth of an inch is a lot better than nothing! We’re usually happy to get anything.

We’re a bit concerned about the forecast for new snow– we may have trouble getting up there, not good timing because of Kaitlin, Torben and the pups. The weather for their past winter visits have spoiled us.

It’s been cold here, though we did get up over 60° one day last week. The ground is incredibly soggy and we have an inch of rain predicted for later today through tomorrow — and a chance of rain turning to snow Wednesday into Thursday. This has been the 6th wettest year ever — records go back to the late 1800s — for Little Rock and, with the rain predicted today and tomorrow, could move up to 4th.

Our last full day in New Mexico, in October, was rainy, too — all the way from Alamogordo almost to Tucumcari.

We have beautiful snow outside our windows. Dave is running errands today because he doesn’t like tomorrow’s forecast.

    Lots of rain here.
    Cold rain.
