That’s a lot of snow. It snowed a little here yesterday but it was all melted off by today. I’m not a fan of the cold but I will admit that it sure looks pretty

  2. I’ve seen winter like that here in Idaho, although for late December it pretty mild.
    Coffee is on

This is the first old-fashioned winter we’ve had in a long time. We used to get snowed out around Thanksgiving. Fingers crossed this next storm doesn’t dump a lot more snow!

  3. wow, agree it looks pretty-as…dull here, a lite breeze (not cold), no sun – nice to go out for a short trip to deal with a few things…

  4. The OP Pack says:

Whoa, that’s a lot of snow. We have cold temps here but no snow. We northern breed pups would love even a little bit of that snow.

    Where are you located?

Woos – Lightning, Misty, and Timber

    • Jean says:

In the mountains of Northern New Mexico. Here in town we’re about 7200 feet elevation, the house up in the mountains is about 8900 feet. That’s why it gets so much more snow.

Beautiful! Makes me a bit wistful and teary-eyed, remembering my childhood in Northern Canada. But don’t get me wrong—I’m done with snow, and am quite happy without it!

  6. nick says:

Wow, that’s quite a snowfall. I presume you’re staying put until some of it’s melted….

  7. Cindi says:

Oh lord, that’s a lot of snow!
    Please be careful.
Tell Andy to be careful too, although I’m sure he always is.
    😉

Kaitlin and Torben had the worst of it because they were driving here. Andy and Kaitlin have to drive to Santa Fe tomorrow for his eye doctor appointment, but most of the main roads have been mostly cleared now.
