I received this email and picture “from Zoe” just now:

I helped paint!!!

    I’m pretty good myself when painting of getting the stuff on all sorts of things, not including the brush – so we are good company. Although I’m not sure I’ve ever got my ears but my hair, forehead, chin…fair game. One of my pairs of shoes (still have them/gardening now) has a spray of purple paint on the toe…and I never got it out, because by the time it was noted, it was well and truly dry.

    so you can see dear Zoe, I don’t require you to come to New Zealand and help out…

    I have “helpful pups” when it comes to fixing and eating dinner. “Can I help, can I help, can I help?” It’s the same thing, night after night, and I’m okay with that 🙂

    Many of my dogs want to be “helpers” but the CATS are much worse.
    I don’t think I’ve ever painted a wall without one of them getting into it!
