LOL The way people walk with their eyes glued to their phones, I’m surprised this doesn’t happen more often.

  2. What did we ever do without cell phones? Oh, ya, enjoy the weather and greeting people on the street.

    LOL!
a lot of people in cars here are texting. at least they’re looking down while driving for whatever reason and are distracted! wrecks just waiting to happen.

  4. oh that type of close collision does happen – I’m pretty I blogged about the lassie I saved from being run over; in a side street (back at Delta) the lassie was talking to someone on her phone and concentrating on said phone. She came up beside me and went to step out (distracted) with a car roaring up…I put my hand out across towards her body, she looked up of course, I was stopping her from being injured… she gave me that “look”…when the car was gone she hurried across the road. THEN she stopped and thanked me. I guess she was telling the person what I had done (foreign language) & possibly said other person had suggested, I had saved her…

it’s illegal to text or talk on your phone, driver, in a vehicle here…only if you have a bluetooth device. I don’t know what the fine is – but every day you see someone with said phone at ear/eyes OR if I’m above them in a bus, on their lap…along with all the ones walking in the street…
