Do-It-Yourself Air Purifier

The latest update from the controlled burn they are doing to the northwest included:

Smoke-sensitive individuals and people with respiratory problems or heart disease are encouraged to take precautionary measures…. For information on the HEPA filter loan program, go to https://facnm.org/smoke#smokeanchor5.

I think the HEPA filter loan program is a great idea, so I clicked on the link to see what they said. The site included information about air purifiers, including a link to this video about building your own.

How cool is that?

    Well isn’t that interesting

I’m impressed that the Forest Service provided so much information and that they have some (a limited number) of air purifiers to help people. And bless the makers of that video, that’s a real public service.

that is fantastic! I will try it. I read about it but having the video helped make sense of it and I like its simplicity. thank you!

  3. We’ve been getting smoky air here in Michigan from a fire burning in Canada. HEPA air filters are godsend to many. Love the build your own video.
