The corn is growing too:

And the lettuce is growing more leaves.

No end of entertainment here.

    Growing like gangbusters! It is always like a miracle happening with gardening/growing things. Roger always told me I should have married a farmer…

      Before we had the land we grew petunias and herbs under grow lights in our apartment. It lifts the spirits to see things grow. 🙂

  2. that’s absolutely awesome, especially the corn/cobs…

    fortunately the grass in the yard isn’t growing much, but I saw that if you were careful with dandelions you could make a tasty jelly with them, as well as young leaves in salad…

    my helper is out now fetching her family and my needs at a supermarket some place. She asked if I needed anything else, so requested just a few things but again with the idea “don’t bust your boiler over it all…” I thought if I had some more eggs and flour, I could probably bake a bit more – I’m trying really hard to ration what is currently here. Doing alright but…

      I’m glad you have someone to help you. Here the senior center tries to shop and deliver for seniors who need help. It can make an enormous difference.

    same here Catherine… trying to ration what I have.
    just in case getting it becomes more difficult.
    I can’t believe how the seedlings grew in just two days!!!
    it’s getting really exciting Monk!
