Kaitlin and Torben picked a great place to live. The Carlisle Cheer Project publicized yesterday’s Holiday Cheer Parade:
Hi Folks!
Our Fire and Police Departments want to spread holiday cheer around Carlisle this season, so on Saturday, Dec 19 starting at 1pm, a parade of fire engines and police cruisers will be escorting Santa and friends all over town for a socially-safe last wave and smile before they launch on their global Christmas Eve journey!
Keeping it safe at the Parade!
While it is great to be able to see our friends and neighbors at an event like the Parade, it is essential that we remember to observe COVID-19 safety protocols. Please…
- Wear a mask at all times
- Observe safe distancing from other individuals
- Keep your hands off your face until you can wash them
- Wash your hands with soap and water as soon as you get home
Follow all COVID-19 safety precautions as posted at the event
Thanks!
How cool is that?!

Yes. I love the friendly poster.
VERY cool! The firemen and police are our heroes!
It’s well-deserved PR for them.
I’m glad to see that some places are still doing special things like this to keep the holiday merry
Me too.
Most Valuable Players … in more ways than one!
It was a great thing to do.
And other nice events tooooo! If you go to the website, it shows them. I like the luminaries and lighting displays… For the Winter Solstice. 🙂
Greetings from the “North Pole”…

We have a few blogs post about some similar parades. We wish our city would have done that too. Very nice and enjoyable.
It’s especially good for the kids.

Kaitlin didn’t mention them driving by, so I’m guessing not. It was the cheerful poster that I loved.
That is a wonderful idea!
