We drove downtown to see the lights Christmas Eve. I didn’t get good pictures, but they did a nice job decorating.
We enjoyed it, but we were even more tickled seeing a deer casually walking over to some buildings.
We live in a great town.

Oh I love the randomness of the deer, but what I see is “nobody around” ….
Mostly people stay home Christmas Eve…we were surprised there was a car driving behind us when we drove down the main street.
My mother was born here, and the town was tiny all my life, then when i moved here, 36 years ago, it was still know as a small town, now it has exploded and almost a metropolis.. I prefer small towns and yours looks perfect.
That happened to the small town I grew up in in California. This one has changed some, but it’s still nice.
