    so interesting. I knew I loved sea otters. but now I see how important they are!
    I can’t imagine how they can eat the sea urchin though. it’s so spikey!

    This is very interesting. I always think everything has its purpose, even a mosquito. Which is probably to feed birds, etc.

    i had no idea about any of this. and I have always believed everything has a purpose, just some are really aggravating. the thing is, the world took care of itself until we got so many humans that interfere… plus otters are adorable

    That’s fascinating. I knew nothing about sea otters, sea urchins, kelp and how the otters preserve the kelp. Or how much carbon the kelp absorbs. But as Tammy says, how on earth do the otters eat those spiky sea urchins?
