When Andy got up there yesterday it was around freezing outside, 62.8° inside the greenhouse. As you can see in the greenhouse pictures, the sun did come out enough to melt some of the snow on the roof. The tomatoes looked fine.
He spent almost four hours plowing the road, all the way to State Route 4, so he didn’t have time for much else.
Today it was supposed to snow again, but hopefully the sun peeked out a little. We will just have to see.

surely it will help your drought levels when all the snow melts?
I’m glad the tomatoes are doing ok!
I’m afraid not. Not nearly enough moisture and the ground is frozen so it won’t sink in…it will evaporate. 🙁
Can’t wait to see how the tomatoes are doing!!! Pretty skies.
So far so good. We’re supposed to have a bit more sun tomorrow, which is promising. 🙂
Oh, so beautiful. I would love to have gotten out, but I try to keep us out of trouble. LOL
It’s best to stay safe. 🙂
Isolation is the word that comes to mind. But a beautiful isolation. And that is a good thing in the time of Covid.
Yes. It’s a blessing that Covid isn’t interfering.
You call that snow? hehehehe
😀
Hopefully the sun will come out enough each day to keep those tomatoes happy
Apparently they still looked fine when Andy left today. The sun did come out about 3 or so and the greenhouse started warming up a bit. So far it hadn’t down below about 40 at night inside.
the light makes it look so beautiful, glad the maters are making it… come on sunshine, do your Thing
Yes, little sun, although even if we lost the tomatoes we wouldn’t complain. We’re snug and warm inside.
I hope you don’t get weary hearing me say so … but this looks so beautiful!
Thank you!
Sounds like your tomatoes will be just fine. Do you mind saying where you live? I’m thinking Los Alamos.
Yes. 🙂
Looks pretty dark and moody
take care Andy – getting there, plowing and then getting home again…
He’s happy. He didn’t have to plow today so he could work on the box for his electronics. That will be post later on.
